Life Is Complicated-Even For Three Year OldsLittle Miss Jennifer LaRayne Solomon celebrated her third birthday with a small party Saturday, July 16th, at the Methodist Youth Center.The party was attended by approximately 15 friends and family members, including Mrs. Trudie “Tuggs” Hutchinson, Jennifer’s grandmother, Mr. Mrs. Jim Hutchinson, Jen’s uncle and aunt, and an out of town guest.There were six little ones sharing in the cokes, cupcakes and festivities: Kristin Edmonds, Erica Manuel, Stephanie Sherman, KayLynn Cooley, Sandra Matthews and her younger brother, Matt. Jennifer is the daughter of Ms. Jill Solomon, who wishes tomake a public apology to Mrs. Sherri Budro and daughter Stacie for the mix-up on the location of the party which prevented them from attending — Sorry, Sherri!Inclement weather caused Ms. Solomon to change the party location from Fort Anahuac Park to the Methodist Center just an hour before party time. Mrs. Budro and Stacie were the only invited guests that could not be reached by telephone. Come party time, they reported to the place designated on the written invitations and on one of the Park shelters was a note telling friends that Jennifer’s party was to be held at a certain location on Highway563 on the North Bayshore. . .They reported to said location, Stacie went in with little girl gift, to find she did not know the people there at that party. When she asked where is Jen Jen,her mother introduced herself to the lady of the house, Mrs. Jerry Whitman and the party girl at that location was six year old Jennifer Whitman. Aftermath-—Stacie went home,brokenhearted, opened her gift for Jennifer as a present to herself for being without a party.
