Omer Scott and wife who had been engaged in conducting a superficial lunch room for several weeks, got into a quarrel or wrangle which it seems resulted in their separation, Mrs. Scott had the automobile which she claimed was hers but Mr. Scott, it seems, claimed the machine and together with his brother Russell went for the same which I Mrs. Scott had hurried into the ! Wheeler garage and left in their charge. The Scott brothers ; went to the Wheeler garage and | took the car after one of them had knocked Leonard Wheeler, i Jr., down. It is said that in the excitement, Russell Scott was about to drive his car over Wheeler who lay helpless in his way and that this was prevented by the senior Mr. Wheeler. Omer Scott got away with the car and has not been apprehended. Saturday, deputy sheriffs Thomas and Edward Rogers came and arrested Russell Scott and took him to jail on a warrant from the prosecuting attorney for assault. Scott is a minor and came home after the proper papers had been attended to.
