Zeke is Again In Bad.Zeke Wilson, well known in the Blue Crass League, where he held the indicator, later becoming a member of the Lexington club and also as an official, was the offending principal at a Sunday game here two years ago, causing considerable feeling resulting in almost a riot in which the ump was worsted, is again in bad. A news dispatch from Ironton, Ohio, says: “Directly following this afternoon’s ball game Umpire Zeke Wilson, whose decisions were flagrantly adverse to Ironton, was surrounded by a large crowd of boys and men and assaulted by several men but not seriously hurt. Manager Benny, Judge Corn and other Ironton citizens came to his rescue and accompanied him to the car line, where he was arrested for striking Carl Heiner, of the local team, with his mask, while Heiner was trying to defend him at the park. Wilson «®as released under $200 bond until tomorrow afternoon.”
