Ir. Oibf»nn'« Funeral.The funeral ot the late Dr. Gibson, ol Jamestown, last Thursday, was very largely attended. Probably filieen hundred people were present. They came r-otn all quarters. In addition to a large number from Jamestown and immediately surrounding country,there were many from a distance-some from Mercer, Sbarpsville, MeadviHe, and other towns. Quite a large number from this place were present. Rev. Dr. Brittain was assisted in conducting the services by Rev. Dr. Hervey, of Harlstown, and Revs. Dennison and McTmire, of Jamestown. The lock is so constructed that when opened once more and re-locked, cannot be again opened without breaking.Some very practical people are disposed to think the Dr. was unwise in spending so much money :» erectingsuch a monument.
