General Sibley has received die-patches from Fort Wadsworth to July 9. No Indians had been Been, but immense herds of Buffalo were found within twenty miles of the Fort, in a plaoe bearing the euphonious name of “Drifting Gut” Mqj. Ross dispatched every one of the half starred Indians in camp near him, on a hunt They had splendid suoeasa, killing some 800 buffalo. Gabriel Renville killed sixteen and Charles Orawferd fourteen,with “ Henry ” rifles.
