The other players who participated in the big show game in 1948 and are making a return appearance this season are Pitcher James LaMarque of the Kansas City Monarchs; Outfielder Willard Brown, also of the Monarchs, and hard hitting first baseman, Bob Boyd, of the Memphis Red Sox.Of the five teams in the Western division tvho are sending players, Memphis leads with four. Irt addition to Boyd, the other three are Pitcher Willie Hutchinson, Shortstop Orlando Verona, and Outfielder Pedro Formental.Each of the other four clubs had three players chosen from their rosters. The rest of the list folloks, Chicago American Giants: Pitcher Gread McKinnie, Cather Lonnie Summers, and Otufielder Art Pennington; Kansas City Monarchs, Catcher Earl Taborn; Birmingham Black Barons, Shortstop Jose Burgos and Pitcher Alono Perry; Houston Eagles, Outfielder Johnny Davis; Jitcher Rufus Lewis and Third baseman Bob Wilson.
