Double Funeral For Swisher CoupleSad 11 ohs darkened the home twice within a short tlnie Tuesday when Mr. and Mrs. Frank Shebetka of Swisher succumbed.Mrs. Shebetka, 80, passed away at her home at S'wishcr following: a lingering Illness. A few hours later Mr. iSheibetka took his life by hanging. The coroner attributed the cause to despondency over his wife’s death. Both Mr. and Mrs. Shebetka were SO years old. They had no children,Mrs. Shebetka was the daughter of' the late Mr. and Mrs. Anton Vavricek and was born In Bohemia, coming to this, country when she was 18 years old.- She was married to Frank She* betka June 25, 1888 and the couple dived on a farm northeast of Oxford until 1912 when they moved to Swisher. She is survived by one sister, Mrs. John Shebetka of Oxford.Double funeral services were held at the Brash funeral home in Cedar Rapids Thursday afternoon. Burial was made In the Bohemian National cemetery there.Mr. Frank Shebetka of Oxford is a nephew of the deceased couple.
