Within the past three weeks six negroes have been killed in the county, and during the past two year period there have been fifty killings within the borders of the county. Eleven negroes are now in the Williamsburg jail awaiting trial on the charge of murder or mansluagh-ter, and the public is making a clamorou demand for some old fashioned neck-breakings as the surest detriment of a coutiuuanee of the carnival of crime.Smith county, which is an adjoining county to Covington, has also [
