BUSTER KEATON *Is the eon of Joseph and Myra Keaton, and his appearances with them In vaudeville have been hailed with much praise from press and public. Buster’s real name is Joseph Frank Keaton. He was born on Oct. 4, 1S93, at Picqua, Kan., and the name Buster was conferred upon him by the members of the company with which his parents were then touring. The name has clung to him, and he finds it an admirable one under which to exploit his work in vaudeville. Buster made his initial stage appearance at Easton, Pa., on Oct. 23, 19Q0, and his imitations and burlesques were a hit from thestart. Since then he has been seen with his parents on the Kohl Castle, Hopkins Keith, and Proctor circuits, and at Tons Pastor’s and other principal theatres.
