TRIBUTE OF RESPECT.We, the Gommittec appointed by Judge Harris, commander cf Camp McDaniel to report suitable resolutions on the death of Brother B. W. Cook submit the following:Bro. Cook was born in Coweta county April lGth 1829, died at his home in Carroll county January 30th 1891. .^Whcn the tocsin of war sounded calling for men to go to fight for our beloved southland, Bro. Cook left his then home in Campbell county and cast his lot with company C. 53rd Georgia Regiment. He made a good soldier answering the call of every roll and otherwise did his every duty, until the closing scene of Appomattox. The greatest thing that we can say in- his behalf is that he was a brave and faithful confederate soldier.Therefore be it resolved, That in the death of Bro. Cook this camp has lost a good member, the county a noble man and we as survivors extend to his family our sympathy.Resolved, That these resolutions and preamble be spread upon the minutes of this order and our county papers be requested to publish it.J.
