Bprrok Democrat. Through the columns of your paper, I would say to the people of Old Spencer that we are all right on the goose, and only lack our arms of being ready for any emer gency. Our organization took place on the 5th inst., Which resulted in the election of the follow ing officers: For Captain, Cyrus W. Metcalf; First Lieutenant, Samuel Besrsly; Second Lieu tenant, Thomas Jones; Orderly Seargeant, An drew Brown; 2d Seargeant, James Metcalf; 3d Sergeant, E. B. Metcalf; 4th Sergeant, Lawrence Rice; corporals, C. C. Stone, William Brown, J. K. Blair and G. W. Harris. Our company con sists of fifty four men, including the officers, CHARLES WOOD, clerk. July 15, 1861. The Rockrour Boys.—Captain Woods’ Compa ny, from Rockport, numbering nearly one hun dred men, arrived last evening on the Hetty Gil more. A spirited song by the company, ,W with a chorus, we must say, was entirely original, at tracted to the levee hundreds of our citizens, who seemed to enjoy the music hugely. After singing, the company disembarked and formed on the levee. They then marched up Main street, en route for Camp Vanderburgh. A majority of the members of the company are over the aver age size, and when drilled, will make excellent soldiers. This is the second company from Spen cer Conny in camp here.—[Ev. jour. 17th inst,
