tenanted Hohenzollern palace.Last night the beautiful rooms at the Char-lottenburg Pailace were opened and a brilliant audience assembled to hear a concert given by Pablo Casals, the world-famous cellis't, and Frederic Lamond, who can hardly have played before in such ideal circumstances. The rooms were entirely lit by candles in golden chandleliers, and during the interval the audience retired to the salons where they had tea. Admission prices were high, but the expense of lighting up the palace with candles rtlone Justified the charges made. It is interesting to rote that a British pianist 'took part in this concert, Mr. Frederick Lammond, who is a fine performer.
