The health of this community is somewhat improved at this writing. Nice showers of rain have fallen in this section for the past week. Rev. and Mrs. Hiers and children accompanied by Miss Katie Hiers of Leesville, S. C., spent a short while Sunday evening with Mr. W. D. Hol lis and family. Mr. J. F. Amick and wife and little daughter, Louise visited at Mr. Shafter Shealy’s of near Lexington, last Sunday. Mr. J. H. Crout and wife and children, accompanied by two friends of Columbia, spent Sunday with Mr. J. W. Crout and family. Miss Gracie Amick spent Satur day night and Sunday with her chum, Miss Janie Seigler. Mr. Victor Shealy and wife and little son, Clifton, spent Sunday with Mr. J. M. Koon and family. Mr. R. E. Amick and family spent Sunday with Mr. D. D. Amick and family. Misses Margaret and Alice Ruth Hollis visited their friend, Miss Janie Seigler last Sunday. Mr. Arthur Wessinger and brother, Frank, of the St. Thomas section vis ited friends of this section Sunday evening. J. J. B. Hyler, wife and little son spent Sunday evening with Mr. D. D. Amick and family - Mrs. L. T. Seigler spent Sunday with her son, Mr. Willie Sqigler and family. y. Pervis Bedenbaugh and wife of the Verona section visted relatives in this section last Sunday. Miss Blanche Oxner of Patesbury is spending some time with her grand mother, Mrs. S. D. Shealy. Mrs. Belle Hollin and son, Rubin, of Sumter, S. C., after spending some time with relatives of this section have returned home. Mr. D. W. Koon and wife and ttle daughter, Martha, spent Sunday evening with Mr. J. W. Crout and family. Miss Mattie Pear? Mills is spending sometime with her aunt, Mrs. Inez Whittle, of near Batesburg. Miss Geneva Derrick of the Mace donia sections is spending some time with her grandmother,’ Mrs. 8. D Shealy. Mr.Noah Nichols and family spent Saturday night with Mr. J. L. Shealy and family. After Tuesday all is c v. Enroll now.
