R. N. A. All-Day MeetingAnother of those delightful all-day Royal Neighbor meetings was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. H. C. Lomax last Friday when a goodly number of Neighbors and as many visitors gathered to do Red Cross work. At noon the table was spread and a glance would assure one that America is still able to feed herself as well as help her Allies.As a diversion during the afier-oood a pleasing program was given. Piano dnette, MisseB Katbiyn and Beatrice Harter; piano solo, Miss Ellen Garside; violin solo, Miss Beatrice Harter; piano dnette, Misses Ellen Garside and Beatrice Harter; reading, ‘'When Malindy Sings,’* Mies Lula Walker. As a closing number Mrs. John C. Brown sang the Star Spangled Banner and graciously responded to an encore by singing the Marseillaise.Besides the Royal Neighbors the following gneats were present: Mesdames Emma David, Etta Foreman, J. W, Power, A. S. Byrd, S. A. Maxey, Mrs. Winn of Kansas City, Mrs. JohnT. Lomax and two children of Ban Benito, Texas; Mr. and Mrs. John C. Brown and baby Betty, Mr. and Mrs. Win. Lomax. Mrs. F. W. Burke and children, Misses Etta Power, Lnla Walker, Bettie Anderson, Orliva Anderson, Rath Foreman, Byrdie Power, Beatrice Harter, Gladys Power, Allene Byrd. Fern Thnraan, Georgia Welih, Leta and Mazo Thurman, and Russell Welsh, and Byron Power. Messrs. J. W. Lomax, E, Thurman, A. J.- Cay wood and H. W. Lomax,One hundred sixty bandages ware made and those wbo were there felt it was a day pleasantly and profitably spent.Oil aceonnt of so many other events owing on the all-day ■eetiog for Angoatwma sweponded.
