J. H. Edwards, the new municipal constable at Burnaby In place of Constable Parkinson, took over his duty yesterday. He has been in the Canadian infantry, a member of the Yukon field force, and of the North Wesc Mounted Police. Among other appointments he has held are those of member of the Nelson and Nakusp ^police forces and chief of the fire department at Claresholm, Alta, for two years.
