Harlowton Times. An old timer pass ed away this week at the McFarland Bros. ranch, southwest of_Twadot. It was “Grey, Dick.” - noted bucking horse of early days. Twenty years ago he saw as the most consistent and persist ent cacker east of the Rocky moun tains, and checked his way to prom inence and glory at many a western rules between Twodot and Miles City. For several years a standing offer of S100 was made to anybody who could stay on his back and it was not until the ravages of age and rheumatism began to creep into his, bones that he vierited his supermacy. He was 29 years old when he yielded up the ghost. Seven years ago his owner, Gid Mc Farland of Twodot, turned him out to pasture. Since that time he has sniffed the mountain sir_ and partaken of the luxerious foliage of the Big Elk region in peace and quietude, re flecting off, perhaps, on his former triumphs. He wan the last horse in this region to carry the old Twodol- WHson brand.
