It ia the annual June ball held at Dah-Igren Hall with an attendance of 6/000—not one of them being a Hollywood extra but real midshipmen, naval officers and prominent personalities who went to the U. S. Naval Academy at Annapolis for the occasion.In’ order to obtain the correct tfghtlng for photographing the scen-3 It was 'necessary to make extensive preparations before director CliTtety Cabann‘3 and cinematographer Arthur Miller started '‘shooting,”Jeanette LofT, John Mack Brown and Hugh Allan who play the featured roles in the picture wera present, at the dance, as were a^t) many notable persons including Adnfiral Nulton, Superintendent of the U. S. Naval Academy, Major General Le-jeune, commander of the Marine Corps, secretary of the -navy Wilbur and others. Annapolis Is a picture that deals -wJiJi \Jiq dally lives of the midshipmen at the Academy, It is said to bo packed with thrills.
