Veederaburg, Ind., July 16.—During the storm Thursday evening the wind did considerable damage about two miles south of here. Telephone poles were blown down and ten large trees were blown down in Freeman Dice’s grove. The men at work in the field were compelled to lie on the ground. Ernest Youngblood and Clarence Dice had a narrow escape in a buggy which overturned when a large water tank blew against it. In some localities the corn was damaged..
