DEATHS OF A DAYCHARLES F. TAYLOR.Charles F. Taylor, seventy-tour, an inventor, and head of the Taylor Atkins Paper Manufacturing: Company of BftBt Hartford, Conn., died at the Hartford Hospital. He was a native of Germany, and came to Chicago thirty-seven years ago. He was owner of a bakery on the South Side for a number of years. The widow and seven^ children survive him. The funeral will take place Monday. Burial will be in Concordia Cemetery.LEONARD PETERS, aged eeventy-four years, employed by the Snyder Piano Company for the last twenty-five years, died at his home, 944 West Seventy-first street. He was a native of Germany, and came to Chicago forty-eight years ago. The widow and five children survive. Daly, sales agent for the Consolidated Coal Company, died of heart disease at her home, 5920 Kenmore avenue, yesterday. Mrs. Daly was born in Champaign, 111., the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William H. MunhaiJ of that city. She was the grandchild and namesake of Dorbthy Familton, the well-known civil war nurse. She was graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana. The funeral will be on Monday morning. Services will be held in St. Ita's Church. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.FUNERAL SERVICES FOR MRS. ELIZABETH W. VAN NOSTRAND, the oldest member of the First Congregational Church of Elgin, will be held this afternoon at 4 o’plock at her residence, 519 Arlington avenue, Elgin. Mrs. Van Nostrand had been a member of that congregation since 1856. She was born in Otsego County, New York. Heart trouble was the cause of her death, Three sons and three daughters survive her. A brother, Alfred Wallin, former Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of North Dakota, also survives.HIRAM SEGER, aged fifty-two years, superintendent of construction work, is dead at his residence, 5328 Prairie avenae, of a complication of diseases. He is survived by a widow, Dr. Jessie Ogden Seger, and a son, Montlien Seger. The funeral will take place to-day at 3:30 p. m. Interment will be in Oakwoods Cemetery.MRS. SALLIE M’ ELROY KNOTT, aged eighty-one, widow of the late J. Proctor Knott, died yesterday in Lebanon, Ivy., from infirmities due to old age. She will be buried to-morrow afternoon by the side of the late Governor Knott in the family lot at Ryder Cemetery.JACOJ3 E. HARING, famous forty years ago as the breeder and owner of celebrated horses, is dead at his home at Scotland Hill, Nanuette, N. Y., aged seventy-eight years. Among the noted horses he raised were Deucalion, Scotland Maid and Goldsmith Maid.MRS. E. R. MOHLER, mother of A. L. Mohler, president of the Union Pacific Railroad, died of paralysis in Omaha, Neb., Friday night. She was eighty-eight years old. A son lives in Spokane, Wash.
