I - - - ’ 'tin; .shoes abroad in an enlightened community is to be commended.The Woman’s Christian Temperance I'niou gave a lawn social at the home of Mrs. Eugene Hogan that was aiumled by many of their, friends hist evening. A very pleasing program was given in the early part of the evening followed by an informal social. Mrs. Messenger road an in-terrsling selection and Misses Hoyt ;-t:d Da L»ee sang two pretty duets. Tiic mandolin club serenaded the party about 9 o’clock and played several* pretty pieces. Light refreshment* were served. The affair was very successful and was a credit to the ladies who managed it. The cosy home of Mrs. Hogan was decorated in yellovr and white and was made very inviting.The west side of South Park has been fitted ap with a neat walk and a« :___1 _ W__^ ^ J.. .L.
