The Governor has been pleased to ap point Rudolph J. Lewis, Esquire, to act as Clerk of the Mandeville District Court until further orders. Under the authority given by the seventh section of Law II of 1869, the Governor has been pleased to appoint the Rev Hubert H Isaacs, MA., to be a Member of the Board of Visitors of the Government Reformatory, Stony Hill. Dr. W. A. O'Conner has returned from love of absence and resumed his duten as Parochial Medical Officer of the Annotto Bay District. Her Majesty the Queen has been graciously pleased to qualify and al low the following Laws passed by the Legislature of Jamaica ; Law 19 of 1879— The Supple mentary Appropriation Law, 1879 Law 20 of 1579—“ A Law for the Prevention of “Accidents at Sugar Mills,” The Governor has been pleased to ap pent Kell, King, Esquire, to set pro visinally and temprarily as Clerk of Putty Sessions for the parish of Portland and Assistant Clerk of the Port Artona District Court, in the room of A. BR. Waite, Require, deceased.
