Rich Foster made four put outs and boomed two home runs to lead a 49-34 Tiger victory ov er the Braves in the Pee Wee league, giving the unbeaten Tig ers a stranglehold on first place. Every other Pee Wee team has lost at least twice. Joe Ricca also hit a pair of homers for the winners, as did Peterson, while Tom Mor ris, Dick Wagner and Mitchell Roe had one each, Jim Aviles and Jon Schneeberger whacked two each for the Braves. Jerry Canonie made a double play for the Tigers. Alfred Watson and Mike Stre beck held the Braves hitless in a Little League game that was one of the top junior baseball contests of the season, but the Braves scored in the first and third to pull out a 2-0 decision. Watson's single in the fourth was the only hit of the game. Mike Sweet scored both runs for the Braves. Doug French and Ken Halamka combned to pitch the one-hit triumph. Mike hit a home run as the Braves downed the Cubs, 25-18, in Midget play. It was the first victory of the season for the Braves.
