For the stay-at-homes, Kennywood is an excellent place to spend a day and er away from the turmoil and heat of the city. Its many amusements are of a character that divert the mind and give one a few hours of wholesome en joyment. Its natural scenic environ ment could hardly be improved, and situated on a summit, it commands a magnificent view of the surrounding country. The ride to Kennywood is a delightful one, the cars passing through the fine residential section of Squirrel Hill. The park is equipped with the most modern amusement devices, and the fast tides are a never-failing source of pleas ure. The park has one of the finest dancing pavilions in the state and it is so popular that the floor is thronged with young couples every night during the week. The dancing is made all the more enjoyable by a large orchestra. Thousands attend the daily picnics and the grounds are always well filled. The concerts on Sunday appeal to music jovers and those who like popular melo dies are sure to hear them at Kenny wood.
