Chairman Erfert of Miami Council Spending Three Days in Ogden During Trip. Studying the commission form of government as arranged for Utah cities, Chairman F. G. Erfert of the city council of Miami, Florida, is spending three days in Ogden, having arrived yesterday with Mrs. Erfert. The Florida official is also police com missioner of Miami, a city varying in population from 25,000 to 40,000 peo ple, according to the number of tour ists that visit the place during the winter months. Chairman Erfert was much pleased with the commission form of govern ment after making some inquiries at the city hall and also among the busi ness men. He will secure copies of the state laws and city ordinances regard ing the plan of government but plane to devote considerable time in talking to various people as to the success of the plan, as Miami is now considering a change to the new system. He will also visit the Ogden City wells. Chair man and Mrs. Erfert plan to leave Sunday evening for San Francisco and San Diego, returning by the southern route of the Southern Pacific railroad.
