44 Vakique” is a new card game, that has become popular in England, primarily because it has become a favorite with His Royal Highness. It is played with special cards of different color for each suit, rejecting 44 face’* cards, and the game possesses more of the characteristic of dominoes than anything else. The colors and spots control the play which consists in placing the cards in line with the live rows of four cards each with which the play begins. It is said that the game calls for much gravity of demeanor, and in this respect resembles whist.
