Charles Ballenger has been elected to succeed Dr. M. J. Cha keres as Commander of Madison Post No. 105 of The American Legion. Other officers elected to serve with Commander Ballenger were Wm. Daily, 1st Vice Com mander; Geo. Shoemaker, 2nd Vice Com.; Marion E. Trees, Finance Officer; Miss Ruth E. Armstrong, Adjutant; Marvin Puckett, Asst. Adjutant; Harry Houser, Histor ian; Bernard Schuman, Set. at Arms; Don Farquhar and Dr. M. J. Chakeres, Trustees; and Dr. Wm. T. Bacon, Surgeon. The next meeting of Madison Post No. 105 will be held Wed nesday, July 17, at 8:00 p.m. at the Legion Home, 111 East High St. Preparations will be made at this meeting for the Department Convention to be held in Cincin nati on July 19, 20,21,
