VINCENNES, July 16.—A change of pie* from Not Guilty to Guilty resulted in a trip to the penal farm for Hex Powell, formerly of Bicknell, Grant Puckeft. They, with Henry Kuhn and Robert Wilson, were arrested Tuesday on charges of violation of the liquor laws. They all entered pleas of not guilty and thetr bends were placed at $500. Two of the trials were set for next Saturday. Powell’s trial was set for July *8.Powell and Puckett were charged With t](f Illegal manufacture and Possession of liquor at the rend houffs abfptfive miles out on the Term T** J»Ik* *§« ofefffced to implicate a man named Jones and Cecil Squires in this places but Puckett and Powell said they had bought' Jones and Squires / out and that these latter two had nothing to do difti the place now.After pleadlifg not luilty, and having the dates of their trials set, Powell and Puckett later changed their minds and put in pleas of guilty.
