The 10-year old daughter ot Mr and Mrs. Albert Kortan last week while looking for something with a lit match in the pantry at her home, came in contract with a cup of gun powder stationed on one of the shelves, which exploded and frightfully burned the child in the face. In many places her face is badly burnt that she will be marked for life. Fortunately her eyesight was not hurt by the explosion. Dr. Ble-zek is in charge 01 the wounded child.
