The Good Example of a Wealthy Young Woman Proves Contagious, [SPECIAL TELEGRAM TO THE DISPATCH.) Rounp Lake, N. Y., July 13.—At the Chris tian Alliance meeting yesterday Miss F. Louise Shepard, of No. 23 West Forty-fourth street, New York, a wealthy young lady, said that she had given all her jewels to the Lord, and proposed to give $20 to pay for a missionary to the heathen. She askd if any one would help her. At once a number of the congregation, men and women, offered their rings, watch chains, earrings, watches and money until the little altar looked like a jewelry case.
