MR, AND MRS, SAMUEL R. BELK .Jo Anne Millward Says Vows with Samuel BelleJo Anne Millward exchanged | wedding vows with Samuel R. Belk; in an early evening ceremony | June 16 at the Ninth ward LDS Church.The bride is a daughter of Mr, and Mrs, A* C. Millward, 157 Jones drive. The bridegroom’s parents are Mr. and Mrs, Carl A, Bclk of Monroe, M.C.The couple stood in a selling uf roses and peonies to recite Jhelr nuptial promises. The ceremony was performed by the bride's uncle, LDS Bishop J. B. Millward. Music was furnished by Mrs. Harold Palmer.The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, wore a floor-length gown of white satin and lace styled with a high neckline, pointed cuffs and train. Her Jewelry included a single strand of pearls and pearl eatings. Her veil of white tulie cascaded from a flowered tiara. Her -bouquet featured red roses and pink earns* tions.Joan Richardson was maid of honor for the bride. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Kenneth E. Hay, Mrs. Weldon Sorensen, Mrs. LeMar Eslinger and Bonnie Millward, all *isLers of the bride.Miss Htchardson was gowned in pink lace with a bouquet of pink and white carnations. The brides* maids had streeHength dresses in pastel colors with bouquets of painted daisies in contrasting colors,.Flower girl was the bride's sister, La Wan Millward, who wore a white nylon dress trimmed in blue with a wristlet of baby roses.Gene MUiward stood as best man lor the bridegroom. Ushers were Weldon Sorensen and Loraino Mill-war d,The bride's mother selected a lavender linen suit with a gardenia corsage for the wedding. The bridegroom’s parents, who re-aide in North Carolina, were unable to attend.At the reception which followed the wedding Marilynne Rust presided at the guest book; Diana Ortega, Kay Fitchford and Airs.Ralph Crapo were in charge of the gift room. Assisting with refreshments were Mrs. Alfred Kynaston, Mrs. Orson Sorensen, Mrs* Harvey Dixon, Mrs, Jack Worley, Linda Richardson, Virginia Seegrist, Jo Ann Dalton, Carol Ann. Palmer and Marilyn Palmer.The program featured a vocal trio of Mrs. Weidun Sorensen, Mrs, LeJMar Eslingcr and Sarah MUiward* solos by Mrs^Leo Cox and Virginia Kinney, yodelmg by Pauline and Vurtia. Jones, pantomime by Sandra Gilman and Jerry Sie-bcrt and dances by Barbara Pratt, Peggy and Janet Stinger.The newlyweds took a honeymoon trip to Sun Valley. The bride changed to a light blue suit which she made with white accessories.The couple will be at home at 1140% Yellowstone. The new Mrs. Belk was graduated this spring from Pocatello High school. Bclk, a 1951 graduate of new Salem High school in North Carolina, is employed at the naval ordnance plant,
