Steamer Little Delta Has Been Chartered for the Trip. WILL GO TO BOUNDARY LINENumber of Prospectors Will Leave for the New District.A large party of prospectors will leave next Saturday for the Porcupine district, to prospect the side streams and other creeks in that country.The steamer Little Delta, has been chartered for the trip and will take along a scow to carry the outfits. The men in charge of the little boat are E. W. MUler, better known as the “Hootlanana Kid/1 and his partner W. M. Louden.The party intend going as far as the boundary, if the water In the Porcupine wilj permit. A number of men have decided to go. The little boat will accommodate quite a crowd and a good trip is being looked forward to.The freight accommodations will be about 40 tons between the room on the steamer and the scow. Poling boats will be taken along for the prospectors use after the steamer reaches her destination.There has been very little prospecting in that district up to this time, but the many people who have been in that country say it looks like a good place for placer prospectors. There is considerable of the Porcupine district on the Canadian side. The boundary line is somewhere near the head of navigation.
