Wabasii and Eiue Canal.—Thos-Dowling, one of the Canal Trustees, publisbes in a Torre Ilauto paper that it is the intention of the Trustees, to keep the Canal in repair as long as it yields a revenue. Mr. Howling says in his card:Though the Slato Legislature has done much to injure this work, it is not the intention of the Trustees to neglect it. and it will be sustained while its revenue gives means to keep Indiana’s first and most useful work in repair. The late disasters by storm and flood (although severe enough) are but trifles in comparison with the legislation which cut down its business and impaired its revenues.
