May it continue to prosper and flourish, and may its many ardent and devoted friends, with untiring energy, never cease till they proclaim its glad tidings to the remotest bounds of the civilized world.By A. May she soon be in the enjoyment of such freedom and happiness as we enjoy.By Jesse Yocum—Religious charity—offspring of Heaven, inexhaustible in its resources and unbounded in its operations.By Miss Matilda Baldy—“ Total Jibuti-nencethe handmaid of Religion, the support of Virtue, the Patron of Peace, the very soul of domestic enjoyments.By John Fortner—Temperance. The only principles on which our institutions can get right and keep right.By Monroe M’Clure—May the Freemen of Columbia say to the flood of Intemperance, “thus far shalt thou come and no farther, and here shall thy proud waves be stayed.By Paul R. Baldy—Prince Alcohol. May he be reduced below the lowest grade of society, and may all look upon him as the vilest wretch.By the Company—The proprietor and pro, prietress of the lonely spot on which we are assembled, deservedly celebrated for their hospitality and kindness.By the Company—The officers of the day. They have our sincere thanks.On motion, it was then Resolved, That the proceedings be published in the Danville Intelligencer, the Danville Democrat, and other papers in the county.
