BryanGREENVILLE - Funeral services for David Rosser Bryan, 23, of Greenville will be Friday at 9 a.m. at Emmanuel Baptist Church, Greenville. He died July12,1994, at Delta Regional Medical Center, Greenville, after suffering from an asthma attack. Burial will be in Forrest Hill Cemetery East, Memphis, Tenn. Boone-Wells Funeral Home, Greenville, has charge of arrangements.He was bom in Memphis,Tenn., where he graduated from Southaven Public School. He then attended the University of Mississippi. Moving to Greenville in July 1993, he was enrolled at Mississippi Delta Community College in the nursing program.He was a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church, where he was very active in the church league softball team.Survivors include his wife, Jane G. Bryan of Greenville; one son, Conner Bryan of Greenville; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Bryan of Olive Branch, Miss.; and one sister, LeAnne Bryan of Dauphin Island, Ala.The family will receive friends today from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Emmanuel Baptist Church, Greenville, or the Asthma Center.ByarsGREENVILLE - Funeral services for Sidney Law Byars Sr., 74, of Greenville will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church, Greenville. Greenville. He died ofheart failure July 13,1994, at Greenville Convalescent Home. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery, Centreville, under the direction of Boone-Wells Funeral Home, Greenville.He was a native of Centreville, Miss., where he graduated from the Public Schools. He then graduated from Louisiana State University in premed. He then enlisted in the United States Navy in 1942 and was discharged in 1946 as a lieutenant commander. After leaving the Navy, he then was employed with Mississippi Power Light as an electrical engineer, making his home in the Mississippi Delta. He moved to Greenville in 1964 and retired in 1976. He and wife celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in April 1994. He was a communicant of St. James’ Episcopal Church.Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Davis Carr of Greenville; one daughter, Permelia Carr Allgood of Albuquerque, N.M.; and one brother, James Gordon Carr of Centreville.The family will receive friends today from 7 to 8 p.m. at St. James’ Episcopal Church in the Davidson Room.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. James’ Episcopal Church.ClarkRULEVILLE - Funeral services for Grover C.
