Mil burn Mason Harr ill was born April 15, 1921 and departed this life July 7, 1977 at Carson, Iowa at the age of 56 years.He was bom at Hancock, Iowa, son of Porter and Almeda Harr-ill. He spent his early childhood in lebanon, Missouri and attended school there. On April 22, 1942 he was married to Irene Elam; to this marriage 4 daughters were bom. Milburn served in World War II and upon his discharge from the Army they came to Carson where he was employed as a mechanic. He was Parts Manager for Davenport Chevrolet at the time of his death. He died suddenly Thursday morning while working at the Body Shop in Carson of an apparant heart attack.Proceeding him in death besides his parents were one sister.Almira, and two granddaughters.Surviving are his wife, Irene; four daughters, JEannie Fox of Santa Anna, California, Kathy Pilling of Macedonia, Linda Harr-ill of Sioux City, and Marsha Roth of Council Bluffs, Iowa; seven grandchildren; two brothers, Ernie of Walnut, and Cress of Carson; one sister, Amilee Fenn of Carson and many aunts, uncles nieces and nephews.Milburn was a member of the American Legion, the Masonic Lodge and a Volunteer Fireman for 31 years. H served for 10 years as fire chief.He enjoyed bowling; hunting, and fishing trips to Canada.
