An uncle, who is Chief Justice of the Hawaiian Supreme Court, yes terday met a nephew, eight months his senior, for the second time in ~ years, Judge Samuel Kemp visited with his nephew, 73-year-old Alvin Ash of 2029 Federal street. The chief justice is en route to the West Coast to embark for Honolulu. “We were raised like twins.” Mr. Ash sid. “I don't get to see much of Sam. We were both born at the old stage station near Austin.” Judge Kemp is also the uncle of A. T. Ash of $15 Woodson way. Last night, other relatives from Dallas, Albuquerque, Clovis and Sweetwater honored Judge Kemp at a dinner in Juarez. He left for Cal ifornia. Judge Kemp was a classmate of Congressman Thomason from the University of Texas, class of 1900.
