W. A. Parr was up from Wins low for two days on business connected with the assessment roll from that place. Mr. Parr is deputy assessor and had the important city of Winslow to look after. Mrs. Harris, the mother of Mrs. Joe Woods, has been quite sick for several days, but is much improved now. Mrs. Harris wintered in Phoenix and return ed to Holbrook about a month ago. Chester Houck came in with his team from Heber Friday. He says the feed is still good and the late rains have made it so they can get water much closer to the best feed. Miss Hopen from Heber, and Miss Anderson from Snowflake are among the young ladies from this county who are attending the summer school at Flagstaff. Among the visitors to Hol brook from the southern part of the county during the past week were Red Holcom, Charles Os born, Joe Porter, John Hoyle and John Sharp. Mrs. Davenport is here from Phoenix visiting with her daugh ter, Mrs. William Morgan.
