A Destructive Fire.Yesterday morning about eleven o’clock the barn on the Wilbur Crook farm, two miles northwest of town on Burg street, was struck by lightning and entirely consumed. -«David Owen was hauling wheat to the mill and had driven into the barn to get out of the wet. One of his horses was killed by the bolt and the other became so terrified that it could not be gotten out of the barn and perished in the flames. The wagon andwheat vvere fortunately saved The team was valued at $250 aud-fully insured. The barn was full of hay anti contained about 50 bushels of corn and some farming implements. The lossjs $500, out is covered by insur-ance.
