JOSEPH L HARRISDIES AT LORIMORFormer Winlersel Resident Succumbs at Aire of75 Years(Lorimor Special)Joseph L. Harris, long: lime resident of Madison and Union counties died July J. his home mLorimor. He was 75 years of age. Mr. Harris was born December2, 1873, south of Wintcrset. He was a son of Lewis J. and Saiah Berry Harris. Except for three years at Newton, his entire life was spent in Madison and Unioncounties.He was married March 2, 1898 to Jennie Eldridge. His death ended51 -years of married life.Mr. Harris followed farming and painting during his active years. When his health failed eight years ago, he moved to Winterset, and toLorimor two years ago.He is survived by his wife, and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held July3, from the Lorimor Baptist church in charge of the pastor, the Rev. Woodrow Caldwell. Burial wasmade in the Lorimor cenieteiy.
