It is said that Receiver Jarvis, through an agent, has secured the refusal on the ground nowoccupied by Chance’s restuarant, opposite Union Station, on Broadway. The ground was the property of the late George W. King, and is now in the hands of an administrator. Relatives of the late Mr. King are reported to have given Mr. Jarvis’ agent promise of the site at a good figure.Mr. King, in his lifetime, was approached by an Air Line man with a proposition and he was considering it previous to his death.
