Thousands of colored people areexpected to leave South Carolinathis fall, many of whom will go to Arkansas. One of the leaders ascribes the proposed exodus to a desire of the colored people to find a locality wlioro they can make a livelihood with less labor than in South Carolina, where much of the land is exhausted.
