4U3-, naxseea tJ7t; ciover seea 4 ouaa uu*, timothy 2 00a2 50.iJUedical meeting.A number of the Physicians of the County of Wayne, State of Indiana, having met at Centreviile on the Gth June for the purpose of forming a Medical Society for said County, but there not being a majority present, adjourned to meet again on the last Monday of June, when a large majority of them assembled at the aforesaid place.The Chairman of the former meeting not being present, Dr. JOHNSON was called to the Chair, and the proceedings of the previous meeting being read, the Committee appointed to draft a Constitution reported one which was read, and after being amended was adopted.The following named Physicians then proceeded to organize themselves into a Society to be called 44The Wayne County Medical b I Society,” viz:—Drs. Shat7?, Johnson, Carver s I Wy* Peirce, Pennington, Dicky, Bhiir, Weaver, Matched Swain, Prichet, C. W, Ligget, i-1 Thomas Ligget, Ruby} Woody, Buchanan and d Greer.s The Society then elected the following offi-l- cers, viz:t I NATHAN JOHNSON, President.JOEL PENNINGTON, Vice President, e I JOHN PRICHET, Secretary.d| HENRY H.
