Extract from a letter from Craig and Daffio, Agents for the Life Medicines at Si, Joseph, Florida, dated Nov, 30th, 1530,* * * * The writer of thla returned from a journey to the north some five weeks since, and from the long and fatiguing travel, having to pass through Augusta, Tallahassee, and other places quite sickly, X contracted a severe BILIOUS FEVER, for which i was treated as is customary, with calomel, Ac. c. and which upon convalescing left the liver in n very torpid state, so much so that it did not throw out ft sufficiency of bile tc aid digestion, and the consequence was that the least thing I ate produced a most violent tit of cholic.
