Stuart, thi± Whig nominee, and Judge Ralston and Thompson Campbell, slump candidates, are before the people of ihe — District in II linois, for Congress, and It is thought the locos will bring out a few more. The Whigs have an overwhelming majority in the district, but like their brethren in many other portions of the country, are likely to suffer defeat while pausing to admire the adroitness anil skill of the LocuCqcus in dividing their strength.
