Stuart, the Whig nominee, and Judge Ralston and Thompson Campbell, slump candidates, are before the people of »he — District in Illinois, for Congress, and It is thought the locos will bring out a few more. The Whigs have an overwhelming majority in the district, but like their brethren in many other portions of the country, are likely to suffer defeat while pausing to admire the adroitness anil skill of theLocufocus in dividing their strength.
