Howard Cravens, 81, of Stonewall died Sunday, July 9, 1989 in Hill Country Memorial Hospital — in Fredericksburg. Funeral services will be — this afternoon (Wednesday) at 2 o'clock at Schachters Funeral Home Chapel in Fredericksburg. Burial will be in Stonewall Community Cemetery. Mr. Cravens was born November 25, 1907, at Winchell. He was water and ol well driller. Survivors include his wife, Faye Lindley Cravens of Stonewall; two daughters, Judy Schoenfeld — of Mason and Theresa Casparis of Johnson City; two sons, Gary Cravens of Austin and Ronald Cravens of San Antonio; one brother, Jay P. “Cotton” Cravens of Niece, California; two sisters, — Blanch Dippert of Tacoma, Washington and Eloise Tackett of Grandfalls; 14 grandchildren and six great-grand children.
