Moore received a message ( Saturday from Detroit stating that his brother, Willard Moore, had been 1 found dead on the street, and he iir-mediately, in company with his hroth-I er. Will J. Moore, of Orleans, Chas Treat. Justus Treat and Ray Hall,, 1 or Orleans, drove there in an automobile.It was ascertained that Mr. Moore, i who was living with his daughter a few miles out of the city, had driven to the market with produce Thursday night n* is the custom, to bo on hand for the early morning sales. He (lid not appear on the market in the morning and an investigation at the sleeping room which provided for by I gardeners, failed to locate him. Search was made and it was learned that a man had boon picked up on the street* by the |ndict ambulance and taken to one of the hospitals.The clue thus obtained on investigation proved to be Mr. Moore. He h#l several bruises about the head and his skull was crushed and neck broken with injuries about the shoulders, His watch and all his money wore gone and it U supposed that he wn* murdered and thrown into the street sometime during the night.The police and detective* are work-'1 log on the ease and endeavoring to get some clue which will clear up the mystery of the crime.
