Thin Time With Eh'plmnt Earn.Resorters at Traverse Hooch, Mich., were excited recently over the appearance of what appeared to be a huge son monster, plainly Been by Mrs. Whitney, Frank I)ur-foe and several children, 1(H) flt;*ot from shore, one time resting °n a rock partially covered by water. Durfoo shot at it, but with no effect The part visible was about the size of a man. Its betid had long hair, huge teeth and ears like an elephant. It was llrst thought to le a sea lion, but later on was seen to be too largo, as it gave evidence of great size under water. All who saw it are well known and reliable.
