Durfoo shot at it, but with no effect The part visible was about the size of a man. Its betid had long hair, huge teeth and ears like an elephant. It was llrst thought to le a sea lion, but later on was seen to be too largo, as it gave evidence of great size under water. All who saw it are well known and reliable.
