Then I thought it was about time to get out and 1 did.•*I left Hight Point on Monday morning about 3 o'clock, taking the road towards Winston. When near ing Salem I took a secluded pathway aud went on through Winston and crossed the ferry, staying all night at the home of To in Morris, 2-S miles above Winston on Monday night.'‘At Glenola 1 wrote a ietter home; arrived in Wilkcsboro Tuesday night, where I remained all night, paying thirty-live cent# for supper, lodging and breakfast.
