Henry Webster, Register, T. D. Smith, Marshal, C. Jamison, Attorney.Minutes ol adjourned meeting o£ the■9th ult., special meeting called, by proclamation ol His Honor, the May-, or, held on the 14th ult., and adjourned meetings held on the 2,6th and 28th ult., respectively, were 'read and approved.H. Ayes all.On motion of Hardin, seconded by Campbell, .that section 1, revised ordinance 011 Marshal's fees be so auiendl ed as to strike out 25 cents and insert $1 in place thereof. Strobach, seconded by Campbell, 'nominated C,H, Frost. Ballot being called' viva* • * # ' » *|■voce, resulted in two votes being east for Wood, and three votes for Frost Therefore, O. II. Frost was declared duly elected Treasurer for the,ensuing year.The appointment ot City.. Assessor laid over from the 9th ult„ was nextcalled.On motion of Strobach, seconded by Campbell, Henry Webster was put in nomination, there being no other nomination, Henry Webster was declared duly .elected by an unanimous vote.A supervisor of the City Cemetery being next,called, on motion of Hardin, seconded .by Campbell, T. D.Smith was nomiuated for the office and• «.elected by an unanimous vote.The City Register was instructed to notify M. V,. Richardson, ex-marshal, to. meet the Finance Committee on the10th inst., at 7 p. m.Various reports and accounts presented and read were referred to the Finance Committee for future action.Sundry accounts amounting to $133 were separately taken np and passed upon by the council and warrants ordered to be issued to each for their respective amounts. ‘ ...■ On motion of Donahoe, seconded by Strobach, that the council adjourn toiicx't regular meeting.,H.
